You are an interface between customers, the product, corporate communications, sales, and many other things. You are responsible for the entire go-to-market plan, which includes positioning and messaging as well as pricing and packaging. You enable the sales department and support the customer retention team.
Tell the customer an appealing story
You must have a thorough understanding of the product and its target audience: what problem does your product solve? How will your customers benefit? How do you convince them your's is the best product? How easy is the buying process? How does your customer communicate, and how can you get in touch with them? Based on this information, you then have to create an emotional, alluring, and convincing story.

After three months, you will be familiar with all relevant topics and techniques of modern (digital) marketing and communications.
Market research and target groups
From the outset, you will be introduced to the "problem space", a very broad definition of your challenge. Before deciding on a specific direction, you will first conduct market research and identify prospective target groups.
Persona, positioning and storytelling
Then, it’s time to get creative: you will build a persona, determine how to position your product, and develop a persuasive message and narrative for your target audience.
Production and tracking
Following that, you will produce and publish content on the channels you have chosen to reach your target group. In addition, you define the key metrics to measure its success and develop ideas to optimize your reach.
Marketing strategy
In the end, you will not only have developed a marketing strategy and campaign plan, but you will also have implemented it.
Agile working methods
But there's more: you will gain first-hand experience of what it’s like to work in an agile communications team with weekly reviews, retrospectives, and planning. You will work with a Kanban board and as an empowered team, you will decide how to manage your tasks.
Digital product development
And, last but not least, as a member of DPS, you will also learn about digital product development (e.g. design-thinking methods) and transfer these to the real world in a marketing and communications team environment.
